Prosjektrom Helium
GAMLE FREDRIKSTAD
Prosjektrom Helium in Fredrikstad startet as project studio late 2014. The main space is a 100m2 large studio where artists may apply with a simple intentional description and rent it for a few weeks of process related works. Project periods generally end with a mini preview / summarizing for colleagues.
Prosjektrom Helium is run on voluntary basis as a non-profit organization by 3 Fredrikstad-based artists. Over the past 10 years we have initiated 2 seminars and 3 Multiple-exhibitions. The artist magazine \ (pronounced backslash) is our latest project, developed by Anja Bjørshol and Tor-Magnus Lundeby.

Backslasj 2 (2025)
Backslasj started as a dialog between Anja Bjørshol and Tor-Magnus Lundeby and developed into playful and object related process with editorial/artistic workshops at Prosjektrom Helium. We see our collaborative practice as both a free space in between established formats and a Østfold-based fanzine project which aims to focuse on art and related matters around us and amongst us - the relation between what surrounds us and what divides us.
