Local Stickerbook Issue 5 (2025)

The group originated from Local Stickerbook, an independent magazine that features the work of emerging Ukrainian artists. Each edition spotlights around 20 artists, presenting their creations through the accessible and playful medium of stickers.

Lexicon of Nature (2024)

Lexicon of Nature is a visual encyclopedia, bringing together the works of approximately 40 artists to explore the theme of speculative stress. This project delves into the intersections of environment and internet aesthetics, offering personal perspectives on the pressures shaping our world.

Svitlo Chronichles (2025)

Svitlo Chronicles is a photography book reflecting a profound visual journey from 2016 to the present day. This series explores the search for harmony and beauty using the camera of an old Nokia ASHA 302 mobile phone, delving into the poetic essence of light, transforming everyday moments into reflections on existence, duality and change. The project combines photography with a unique artistic philosophy so call “photo-impressionism”— an aesthetic of low resolution that emphasizes the emotional resonance of light over technical perfec-

tion.

Solomyia Issue 5 (2023)

The third issue of Solomiya is as desperate as it is full of love, beauty, courage, and an unsettling longing for “a journey, an escape, and freedom,” as Yevhen, a young soldier from Odesa, puts it in War Dreams, a poignant series of portraits by Italian photographers Caimi&Piccini. While raising questions about masculinity in war through the recent work of Vsevolod Kazarin, Alex Mashtaler’s yet unpublished photographs juxtapose the innocence of youth with the unforgiving harshness of reality—a reality shaped by Ukraine’s colonial past and a present challenged by ongoing militarization. While Ivanna Kozachenko and the artist collective Commercial Public Art dissect the spatial strategies of the architecture built by Russian forces in the occupied territories of Ukraine, the writings of Lucy Zoria and Sebastian Wells offer diverse insights into the lived experiences of young Ukrainians abroad.
