I work with silence. Comfortable and uncomfortable silence. The silence before a storm, and the stillness after. I work with complicated emotions in small formats.I work with nature and my own relation to it. My practice mainly focuses on printmaking, drawing and photography, but I am eager to engage more in the book binding- and publishing aspect of the artworld. My publications are therefore a work-in-progress/suggestion type of work. The publications I apply with are small in size, and single copies only.
This publication is made using thin Mino Washi paper. It conists of photographs transferred onto the paper through an acetone transfer process. It is an exploration of how the photographs and the paper speak to each other, creating an eerie atmosphere. Like a walk through the fog the book illustrates how our memories come and go, becoming clearer or fading as we move through life.

The publication is made of a cotton fabric, loosely bound with a thin sewing thread. Throughout the book there is a photograph, printed through a digital fabric printer. The abstract pattern emphasizes the theme of softness, as it is a depiction of water gently washing over sand. Delicately, the water is drawing and removing, drawing and removing. On some of the spreads I have transferred photographs and text through an acetone transfer process. I have observed and captured the soft and caring aspects of nature, and try to describe how I relate to it. It is a poetic encouragement to observe softly, and to be present and gentle in the world.
