In the artist book "Månesyk", photography, collage and text create a personal story about loss and reconciliation. The book address photography's role in memory and the role of art as a space for processing grief more generally. Cutting the deceased father out of the photographs in the collages highlights the story of loss that can be found in the book, and the new compositions tell the story of an artist searching for her father, for traces of the relationship as well as an expression for her grief - not only for what was lost, but also all that never was.
